BMX

Those who know me know I love electronic music, cars, and freestyle BMX. My first bike as a kid was an 87 Maui Blue GT Pro Performer. One day in 2005 I got nostalgic and decided to embark on a journey to build some of my favorite freestyle bikes from the 80’s. I loved GT’s, Skyways, Redlines, and of course Hutch’s.

I sketched up on paper some rough design drawings and what you see below is the result of a multi year effort of sourcing parts all over the world, and restoring old frames and parts back to their showroom glory. I had a very specific vision for each bike, and couldn’t be happier with the way they turned out. To me they’re a snapshot in time, and a piece of 1980’s art I chose to preserve for future generations.
